Introduction to the Natural Language Toolkit (Hands-on)

October 31st  2-4pm, Room 306 Hamilton Library

The Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK) is “a leading platform for building Python programs to work with human language data.” We will explore a variety of corpora using the NLTK built-in support and explore more advanced natural language processing tools such as tokenization, stemming and tagging, as well as the data analysis options that become available as a result of using the powerful text-processing of the NLTK.
